The road show begins
It’s official - the 2027 calendar is in production. We’re back on the road doing what we’ve done for years now: chasing good light, scouting locations, and getting the kind of all-American shots this calendar has been known for since the ’80s.
A lot of this year’s work is being shot on film. It’s slower and there’s no screen to check, but that’s the point - it forces everyone to slow down and get the frame right in camera, and it gives the photos that warm, timeless look you can’t fake in post. The shot here is a straight 35mm frame off the set.
This is the part most people never see. The casting, the early mornings, the travel between locations, the crew sweating the small stuff so the finished pages look easy. They’re not, but that’s the job, and we still love doing it after all this time. Every year the goal is simple: make this one better than the last.
