You must currently work as a Hooters Girl. Each year, locations submit photos of their Hooters Girls, and the calendar team reviews thousands of submissions to select the cover, feature months, centerfold, and the 200-plus girls featured throughout. Selections are typically made in the spring, with shoots over the summer.

On location across the country and beyond, including Florida beaches, the Bahamas, Texas, Colorado, California, and the United Kingdom. The photographers travel city to city each summer shooting the girls at or near their home locations.

The first Hooters Calendar was published in 1986, three years after the original Hooters opened in Clearwater, Florida. The 2026 edition is the 40th anniversary calendar.
